I'm not quite sure I understand why this exists. But I like it in a weird sort of way. Those taillights where the headlights should go are so trippy.

I dig Renault, overall anyway. They’ve always been a bit effed up, which is what we should want out of any car company, so good ideas can come out of that. Here Renault learned that forwards cars are actually proven now to be the best idea. See? They learned something. Unlike GM who refuses to learn from their experiments that making cheap cars for poor people actually accomplishes nothing.

Making cheap cars for poor peoples can actually accomplish great things but the GM way of doing it by not trying to make smart choices to make it cheaper but just making it terrible is indeed not the right way :)

For example, Dacias are not only owned by poor peoples but also by peoples who want a car that does the job without nonsense and soft materials that don’t last   while not being a chore to drive, ultra- bland or unpractical .

I’m so confused... The car looks much better backwards than it does forwards, at least in my opinion, but maybe I’ve been groomed to think that’s what a car was supposed to look like...

Props to Renault for being bold and whatnot, but also this doesn’t make a lot of sense to my puny mortal brain... It looks rear engined, so where’s the trunk? Does your luggage share the same living space with the engine. I mean, w ith a hatch, you can at least have an accessible trunk that won’t heat your stuff up as you drive along...

Rant aside, thank you for sharing.

Well, it’s all explained in the video !

And yes, it’s   rear engi ne with a 1.7L V8 so the storage space is behind the rear seats.
